I've said on this sub before that I love all TK songs, and at this point in my life that's absolutely true. But, when we we first got Sam's Town after Hot Fuss. It was a major culture shock. I wasn't a fan of the aesthetics: the cowboy vibe, the mustache, a lot of the danceability of Hot Fuss was gone. And, probably more than any other album there were songs that it took me a very long time to get into. Apparently for Read My Mind is a very popular TK track. I do love it these days( I love em all), but it took me months before I developed any sort of affection for this song. I also didn't like My List at first. It is my opinion that every album is better than the other and they build on concepts and style from previous albums. I've been with TK since HF and I don't see myself stopping. Just thought I'd share this here because I was thinking about it recently.
