My overall thoughts on the show, Gerry & the women

Weird things about the show: Filming to premiere date was way too fast. But they were rushing to get it released because of the writer's strike & these women are all free labor. The episodes were also so rushed so even with a smaller pool of women, you didn't see half of what you would see on Bachelor/ette. I'm honestly really shocked that he went from 6 women to 3 this week! the regular shows always have 4 people for hometowns. But then again, it was because of the strike. I hope that ABC continues this show as well as doing a Golden Bachelorette, but please give them better sleeping accommodations! Bunk beds are not cool for the 60 crowd!

Gerry - He seems like a nice man. I am inclined to think that because he was born in IA (I'm an Iowan too). But what he's saying is kind of leading some of the women on, it feels like. I hope I'm wrong.

The women - My top 2 were Sandra & Faith, just based on the bios they put out. Regarding Sandra, though, it does seem a bit weird that she would miss her daughter's wedding. Of course, we don't know the whole circumstances surrounding the daughter's wedding. It could have been that Sandra is not as close to her daughter or maybe the daughter had planned to elope. Or there's other possibilities, so I will give her the benefit of the doubt.

Susan - I thought she was too high maintenance at first, but my opinion of her changed in episode 2. I think she's a classy woman. She would make a great Golden Bachelorette. I was sorry to see her go, but after she didn't get much air time with Gerry, I was not surprised.

Teresa- there's something about her that I'm just not sure about. She seems a bit manipulative, but of course that could be how she's portrayed. There's a lot of footage we didn't see. But I just don't see her as being the final one.

Faith - I want her to be the one. But I do agree with other posts that she seems needy.

Bottom line - I like it better than the regular Bachelor/ette shows. But please keep it classy.

I bounced after the staged diner dance scene. Too dumb.
