I recently came across this quote and it just struck me, 'You can fall in love with a persons potential but you have to be in a relationship with their reality. - Lisa Prozen'

You can have unlimited potenital but its completely irrelevant if you dont live up to it up, this applies as much to ourselves as it does to those we surround ourselves with (partners, friends, colleagues, etc).

For me it was a moment of realisation for all the people where I just want to push them to be the best versions of themselves or you see their potential and are so desperate for them to live up to the potenital but they make decisions/choices not to, sometimes consciously and other times subconsciously.
