Is migraine during period and ovulation common?

Hi,
So just to be clear, I never have a migraine during period or ovulation before. This month is the first time it happens to me. I have almost constant headaches and dizziness and have become quite sensitive to smell. A normal smell like sunscreen can even trigger my headache. There is no aura though. Also, I don't have my period yet. It'll be a week or two before I do and I'm ovulating right now.
How common is it for women to have a migraine during ovulation? Is it normal or should I get checked?
