Any tips on caring for mole removal scars?

Hi all. I'm having a couple of moles removed by the doc next week and although I'll probably get some bio oil (if he recommends it) and try to keep things clean, thought I would ask for people's experiences on what not to do/to do to minimise scarring and quicken the healing process.
One is right next to my mouth and the other is in the middle of my forehead (and is so large, I swear it has its own atmosphere).
