So I've read this post in detail and it's really helpful. I used to get shocking ingrown hairs after shaving but her baby oil technique and exfoliating has really helped thus far.

However, I'm on the lookout for the right razor to do the job.

At the moment I'm using a Mach 3, but it just doesn't shave close enough for my liking, it's not smooth enough. Various posts I've read on Reddit have suggested that 4-5 blades give a better shave, although I'm not quite sure why.

So what do you ladies use to be soft and hairless?

I think most women's razors are a rip off so I'm happy to use mens, but at the same time I don't want to rip my labia to pieces with some sort of cut-throat contraption they usually use at the barbers.

Also, it's pretty tricky to get into that little V space above the clitoris without feeling as though you are about to maim yourself.

I'm in the UK if it makes any difference.
