Six weeks ago while I was working out I dropped a dumbbell on my finger and broke my finger tip. It’s my middle finger on my right hand. The nail looks TERRIBLE. I had a follow up with the orthopedic doctor this morning and he said I will definitely lose the nail. He said it will just pop off at some point but the new nail has started growing.

I always have my nails done. Like I haven’t gone a day without nail polish in probably over 10 years. I’ve been keeping this nail covered with some cheap nail stickers from Amazon. But once the nail falls off I’m guessing I won’t be able to stick these to my nail bed.

Has anyone gone through this and have experience at how to make losing a nail look less terrible?
