Does anyone else find Brandon unlikable and awkward?

I just don't find the actors acting compelling and the way he delivers his lines sound so scripted, like hes reading it off a teleprompter. It's gotten to the point where I have to fast forward through his dialog. Praise DVR.
On a side note Daphne is so funny I love her character.
