You have a big decision to make" -- no, you don't! If there were 7 players or 70 players left, you're stuck with Fashion Icons. The only way you get rid of it is to lose or to be challenged by a single-square player, of which there were none left at that point in the finale. There was never any explanation of the randomizer being dead, since all players left in that last 4 had played before. "Going back to the floor" would result in an immediate call back up, and that's very boring.
For a season finale, by design, it's very poor -- yes, three of the four players who were in the final four had played duels before, but as an episode of television, we were given essentially nobody to root for. There were people who we hadn't met who are competing in the finale. That's bad!
Having the same exact gameplay and structure from the first duel to the last sounds like parity on paper, but results in a lack of investment in the players and, ultimately, the game.
As other posters have said, there needs to be a revamp of the game - swapping, immunity, paying per duel -- anything that helps incentivize playing and winning rather than just luckily not being called. It was ultimately a letdown, I think.
Also, I was convinced that Lindsey was going to win it all and was using the prize money to fund she and Tom's adventures, but alas, I was wrong.
