Sure, it would still be good from the perspective of getting a new book from Lord Grimdark.
But we are already getting that from his new series.
By the end of this 10 book run, we already have a view on whats nascent. Styria is on a dawn. Empire MIGHT get a comeback (probably won't).
But more importantly, from the final vision in WoC, we know that Rikkes North wont last forever. And even Bayaz himself does not hold illusions about hanging around forever. That day just wont cont too soon.
I feel like, this is story is already beautifully told. And from where we lead off in WoC, would you really be upset if no more First Law books come?
Sure, seeing Shenkt usher in age Styria would be cool. But I have very little interest in seeing a FOURTH failed Northern War, with Lip Caldersson being the clown this time around. Let Joe create new universes. Orso/Bayaz will forever remain in our hearts regardless.
