I theorise that there is a "gas core" and the gas core is being protected by the smoke and its possible that you can maybe cover the core with goo so that even if they are inside the gas with flamethrower they wouldn't be able to explode it and you can control how the goo looks based on goo covered up by the flame
Yes, this is what I've been talking to my friend about. Even if the fire has started already on goo, you have about 5 seconds before it breaks, so you can use the smokes reactionary. I was saying there should be smoke traps that trigger when fire is in range rather than being triggered by a player. These would probably also be given to the Light class
