An episode or two back Chantel said she had professional athletes, actors and a "famous Canadian rapper" 🤔 Drake... in her DM's.

Instead of us getting exactly that- we got a former male FIT grad (the % of straight men that graduate from FIT is like half of Harvard's undergrad acceptence rate btw) that takes his first dates to places like Slate (if you live in NYC, you know it as basically an adult Dave & Busters) and then... the "neighborhood" diner comment for date 2? While he's trying extra hard to communicate, "this is his primitive way of looking for wholesome people", dudes shirt and jacket are half buttoned and half zipped.

As a 32 year old guy from Manhattan I would have crushed that date with Chantel no problem and I don't have to "shoot pool" to look cool doing it. Chantel wanted a lavish night out in NYC (she's young, newly single, hot and isn't in Manhattan often) and she deserved it. If the show is scripted, they set her up on a shit date on purpose. If it's not, idk where she meets these guys but she should probably take a few dates from a couple of guys in the NBA, NFL or Drake if we expect this show to have any staying power at all.

The date was cringe and I bet many guys in here (girls too I'm sure) could have done better than whatever that dude who looked like he's trapped in 2010 could do haha.

Chantel & TLC, please stop pairing this girl up with losers and making us think guys like Drake are in the DM's.
