Post Body

After Fred’s death and Drummer’s resignation, Bull is technically in command of Tycho Station—but he’s been absent since Fred’s death and clearly can’t fill Fred’s political role in any case. The show leaves us with no familiar faces on Tycho, though we know it will continue to play an important role as BA a neutral meeting ground for independent Belter factions.

I believe that, as the season was originally shot before the addition of S5E10 Alex’s death, Bull’s stint on the Rocinante was meant to introduce us to him so we’d know who was running Tycho during season 6. (Notice his absence on Luna in episode 10—in the original version he was probably already headed back to Tycho.) So if Bull sticks around as part of the Roci crew, how will the show fill the power vacuum on Tycho? Any new characters introduced next season will automatically be suspect, given how Tycho was already infiltrated by Free Navy plants.
