What I'm referencing in this post is Bezos' recent presentation about the goals and future of his company Blue Orgin.
Bezos is a smart guy, and I'm not going to deny that in any way, shape, or form. But I think he seriously overlooked some other aspects and possibilities of the next frontier.
He sort of dismissed anywhere that is a significant distance from earth, enough to have light lag, as well as Mars because it's too far away. I think he forgets that for a large chunk of industrialized time on earth, this was the case aswell.
I dont think it's right to dismiss anywhere as a possibility because as long as you have energy from the sun and mass from your surroundings, literally anything is possible!
