Help Requested for Paper on Belter Creole

Hey folks! My son is writing a paper on Belter Creole for an anthropology class. We're looking for instances in the books where the development and evolution of the language is discussed, as well as examples of Earthers and Martians finding it incomprehensible (evidence supporting it as a distinct language). Hope you all can give us some insight. I read all 9 books at least twice, but I'm having trouble suggesting specific examples.
