Near the end of the episode when old Alec Sadler is constructing the message, he said "... you and I were given a gift from our father; he died young..." to be sent within Kiera.
Theory part:
This could possibly lead up to the point that "he (Escher) died young" when Emily killed Escher. Now, this is after Kiera and Alec travels back in time, Alec trying to save Emily, but that resulted in Escher's death. Theoretically, this could mean that there is only one continuum and the 2077 Sadtech is inevitable even after Brad Tonkin's time travel (meaning Kiera, Alec, and Brad's time travels resulted in the old Sadtech Alec 2077). Even Brad Tonkin's accidentally summoned soldiers from the future from season 3 last episode could be part of the original continuum!
