We all know that Aegon is extremely spoiled, allowed to do whatever he wants without any serious repercussions and such, which is why he ended up that way.
So just what if, Otto steps up, ignoring Alicent, and actually grooms him for kingship right at the age when Daeron was sent away? How much would the dance change with a very capable Aegon?
