IIRC Viserys became worse when he had to sell their mother's crown, what if he'll do anything even to the point of renouncing his claim to the Iron throne just to see his little sister, Daenerys, safe? Where Daenerys became his reason to live, to grow. Older brother figure to the max!
Kind of like Contempt and Power.
I think I already posted the same premise 3 - 4 months ago, here's to hoping there are new ones out there now :>
