Even though his goal is to be as authentic as possible and I relate to him being a social media pariah because I too, don’t like to use social media that much, there’s things that he does that don’t seem genuine. While I do think that he had a slightly better relationship with Adam (I hate Alex) then he did with Miranda (she was just naive with the way she played, but genuine), his justification for saving Alex over her was just bs. When was Adam kind to him? And how did Shooby not see through Alex sucking up to him since he’s an influencer? He could’ve at least been more honest and said he either thought Miranda was fake or that he didn’t have a relationship with her. Plus he always thinks people who are obviously not a catfish are catfish, like Miranda ‘cause of her tattoos lol, or Antonio and even Chris! but for some reason, can’t see through Rebecca/Seaburn, who’s the most ‘genuine’ of them all? Their whole relationship is just an allegiance, and suddenly Rebecca is his ‘sister’. I just don’t know if Shooby is as genuine as he claims to be, or if he’s just naive, and people are manipulating him. I find Joey and Sammie to be the most genuine, because at least they both admit when they are and when they’re not playing the game. I’m just frustrated at Shooby currently, and annoyed that no one has figured out that Rebecca is a catfish, especially with all the mistakes Seaburn makes about first Chris, date with Adam and then the ‘pain on the left side’ when it comes to cramps 😂😂😂
