Is the game that bad?

I heard a lot of people complaining about the game, for example guns being almost useless and that the melee is only viable way to kill enemies and its repetitive, also the parts and what you have to do so idk if I wanna buy it

It's not as bad as people initially said. The gameplay is simple enough but still has enough depth for people that want a challenge. I also love that it's a shorter game unlike all of the 80 hour open world RPGs with dozens of side quests nowadays.
