So when rewatching the show in preparation for the finale, I realized that Todd is an amazing character. Not only does he show someone who has fallen for Vought's lies but also shows how easy the average person can fall for these lies too. I know we should challenge things we are told to find the truth but a lot of people don't do it. He is easy to hate for sure, but I found more to pity as he can't see the truth of how HL and Vought are manipulating them. Makes me think of that one fan of Stormfront who became radicalized and killed a random stor clerk.
