Why is the show so forgettable?

I’ve been rewatching s1 and s2, soon to be on s3 and I can’t believe I have forgotten this much of the show. It’s like my brain just takes out scenes and only remembers like 4 scenes from each season. Like I completely forgot about the whole of s2 ep3 and all of s1 when it’s actually a really good show. So why do I forget so much of it? Anyone else have this problem or do I just have very poor memory? Never had this happen rewatching a show before.

So much media is available to consume, you go from one show to the next waiting for new seasons it all gets memory holed
