I recently started watching the show again and I'm reminded why I stopped watching in the first place.

I understand Reddington has secrets he doesn't want out because they will hurt people. But exactly. Those are his secrets and they will hurt people if they get out. As such he's made the effort (because he has the power to do so) to protect Keen for damn near 30 years.

Keen is annoying because even with the warnings she refuses to let go because "i HaVE tO KnOW". We can blame Reddington for keeping secrets but ultimately whenever anything bad has happened its due to Keen poking the bear even after being warned not to.. and she will always default to "Reddington keeps secrets that are about me so I have no choice ".. but she does have a choice.

Even if she finds out what these secrets are .. then what? She doesn't have the power, knowledge or influence to keep herself safe and repeatedly keeps making bad decisions. She rarely ever admits that if she had just left something alone... nothing bad would have happened. And everyone tries to put it on Reddington but Keen is a functioning adult making these decisions and placing undue burden on everyone around her just so she can get answers that she won't even know what to do with.
