Okay, so my head hurts.
So many things going on and some things I love about the finale and some things were so confusing.
I loved so much Liz’s plan to get the team out of the black site! It was so cool and resourceful, but what are the odds that NO ONE would be watching where Aram, Harold, and Ressler were being kept? It was excellent seeing Reddington walk in with his crew and get them out, though.
I admire and love Harold so much. The man is never afraid, ever. He will never betray his team and it has infuriated his superiors so many times, but I have so much respect. He may be one of my favorite characters.
Fuck Rassvet. I was so mad when it finalllllly seemed that all of our questions were being answered only to have the rug pulled out from under us. What the hell. But the old man on the bench had to have been Ilya, the man could’ve looked like anyone in the whole world, and they chose to make him look exactly like Ilya. There’s no way it could be someone else in my opinion. But how did he and Red know each other as children? Does that mean that Red is really Russian? Or that Dom made Ilya Russian for the purpose of making it seem like he and Katarina go way back and as a result make it more reasonable that she would trust him to take over Reddington’s identity?
It never crossed my mind that Red could be Katarina until I read it on this sub a few weeks ago. That just doesn’t seem likely to me. But on the other hand, if Katarina totally betrayed him and made him a criminal, why has he forgiven her? He doesn’t forgive anyone, he just kills them. And why be friends with Dom? Dom was the one who arguably started all of this in the first place.
It was so nice to finally see Anna die. She’s the worst. And Sandquist.
I don’t understand the coup d’etat Plan. If they didn’t want to First Lady to share what Diaz had done, why not just kill her like they planned? Why is it necessary to bring in anyone else? I understand that the Russians paid for the coverup of the accident, but why is anyone else needed? And did anyone else think that what the First Lady told them was just kind of out of left field? No one could’ve foreseen that at all.
Why did Reddington want to find Katarina and why was it so easy? She had none of the same mannerisms that young Katarina had. They don’t seem like the same person at all. And Paris, really? There is no way she could inconspicuous there. And why now? This is the worst time to find her, Liz finally thinks Agnes is safe.
I don’t know, I’m just confused a little bit. Maybe I should start the series form the beginning again.
