I want to talk about power dynamics now. This will be the final part of my foundations. There are many things that go into domination and submission. These are, I think, the building blocks.

Power is interesting. The follower and submissive decides exactly how much power they give up. In that range they have no power. However, they ultimately decide how much power the dominant has. They have more power than you think or realize. No man is a king without a slave following him. Know yourself and your limitations in their role x

Now for the submissive. You must recognize that in that range you give him. There is no freedom there. That’s the point, so think carefully about what you allow. Once you try to take bald power it will be nice trickier. The reveal that the power is really yours destroys the fantasy for many. A truly great dominant will understand, but be prepared if they don’t. Respect that you gave it up. It’s not forced on you. Love your place. You choose it
