Hey,
Just got done rewatching s1&2 and noticed that Carmy obviously has tonnes of cookbooks, and it got me thinking if anyone has any good recommendations? Either spotted in the show, or from irl cooking experience?
I’m not a chef by any means, but I love cooking and want to find books that focus on teaching techniques more so than recipes if possible? An example I can think of is learning how to make some of the more advanced (in my opinion) types of pasta from scratch? Although I’m open to learning any new skills,
Posting here as The Bear inspires me, and from lurking in the comments it seems to attract a lot of people who are trained chefs in their careers, so I wanted to pick your brains too :) Hope that’s ok,
Any advice, links to resources, or books recommendations are welcomed. Thanks!
