So when watching The Bear, I noticed something about Richie as the series progressed. I have had people in the past that I have had a few interactions with and didn't like at first at all because they were loud and/or abrasive. However, the more I got to know them, the more I got to understand them, and like them as people, and understand their personality. Heck, some of these people I even consider some of my best friends today, and I feel this is something many of us have experienced at some point.
That is fantastic writing. I feel like capturing the nuances of these types of relationships and people through a written script would be an incredibly difficult task, and they pulled it off brilliantly. Richie went from being someone I couldn't stand to see on screen the first few episodes of season 1 to probably being my favorite character by the end of season 2
