Is Uncle Jimmy's nickname "Cicero" because he's from Cicero, IL?

Post Body

I never knew Cicero was a suburb of Chicago until recently. I was watching the pilot of Better Call Saul, and at one point Jimmy McGill tells the story of "Slippin' Jimmy from Cicero, Illinois" - which of course made me think of the character from The Bear (and then I discovered it's a neighborhood).

Any native Chicagoans have any insight? Did you assume from the get-go that he has some affiliation with Cicero, IL? I don't think they ever explicitly say on the show that Jimmy is from Cicero or tied to the place in anyway - in the episode that takes place at his house, Carmy and Richie say he recently moved from Naperville to Wilmette. But a lot of the character development on this show is very subtly implied, so I'm not sure if I'm missing anything (I've only been to Chicago a couple times in my life). Would be interested to hear your guys' perspectives.

funnily enough most of the mob moved to Oak Park and away from Cicero. The Accardo family and its associates had underground tunnels linking all of them in the area.
