For someone new to guard but old to 40k (see 3rd edition when orks were terrible....and I liked it) Where is a good starting point for a combat patrol( not using cadians)? Two of the guard factions that meet the hey I like the lore requirement are (drumroll) - Dkok and AsL - is krieg better objectively than Steel Legions? Yes I like tanks , massive amounts of casualties in games and generally loathing paintings alot of minis but doing so anyways( did paint up over 100 orks back in the day...)
