For clarity sake, I know that the battle cannon is better than the Vanquisher cannon, but I prefer the aesthetic of the Vanquisher as I feel it has better and more appealing proportions relative to the Battle cannon. So whenever I play a game, do you think my opponents would mind me using a Vanquisher cannon as a battle-cannon, provided I mention the change and repeatedly mention it?

As an aside, do you have to have the crewmember sticking out of the tank for it to count as a "tank commander", or does it not matter?

So far I have the tank modeled with:

• 2x heavy bolter sponsons

• 1x hull-mounted lascannon

• smoke grenade launchers

• no guy sticking out of the tank

• An intended battlecannon, which I haven't actually put it on yet though, hence this post.
