I don’t think Prince was very good at performing and recording music.

Everyone seems to love him but I get annoyed when his songs come on. I don’t care for his voice, his background music, or his lyrics. I think most of his songs devolve into a section of pure cacophony before he pulls it back to the main tune at the end. I don’t mind some of the songs he wrote performed by others, but I just cringe when I’m listening to 80’s music and his songs inevitably are played.
