I think with regards to this one people are blinded with nostalgia. Most Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon shows were of much higher quality. Compared to SpongeBob, Regular Show, Adventure Time, Amazing World of Gumball, Avatar the Last Airbender, GF falls short. On Disney Channel, Phineas and Ferb was also a better show. It’s mildly entertaining but I don’t see what’s so special about it as a show.

I watched it in 2019 and found it very well made albeit at times too skewed towards Mabel getting her way. Overall I'd say it's far from mediocre though not necessarily a full 10/10 in the western cartoon category.
