The problem with misplaced nostalgia
Post Body

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the nostalgia but I felt like at times it wasn't capitalized on properly with the cameos. Such as, why did Donna appear 3 times and Eric only appeared once? Why were they both not present for Leia's birthday? That was a huge fail. Why was Leo even there? He brought nothing to the new show. Also, while I do like Bob, his appearance just didn't work. Him singing a crappy song for Leia, wtf was that? We find out nothing about his new life in Florida, Midge (although Tanya Roberts is deceased) is not even mentioned once, we're all supposed to believe she never existed apparently and that Leia only has one grandmother.

Nostalgia can only carry you so far in a show like this. Like the rest of the show, at times it really felt forced. I also didn't think Fez was as effective as in That 70s Show, him being Gwen's stepfather is very weird and somewhat creepy. I'm not buying it.
