Question about the timeline (no it's not a repetitive and frequently asked question)

I know the timeline is messed up and that throughout the years some have vaguely tried to make sense of it but largely to no avail since there are for instance more Christmas episodes than there are years gone by in the show's timeline from 1976 to New Years Eve 1979.

I was wondering however if looking at it through months would perhaps help make more sense of it. Then again, it's possible that some months are skipped while others are interminably long and stretch over several episodes or half a season. Could a timeline of month from May 1976 to December 1979 be created?
