Hello! I think that we're pretty set on what we're going to do, but I would really appreciate it if someone glanced quickly at our itinerary and said it looks good.

I figure that it will be pretty easy to get transport. In Bangkok we may be able to use the skytrain or get a taxi for transport to and from the airport and our hotel/airbnb. We haven't booked any of our tours yet. I think we will do GP, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun on our own without a tour. I also don't know if we should book a tour for ayutthaya or try to go on our own and rent bicycles when we're there, or whether we'll end up going to kanchanaburi instead, so advice on that would be helpful. We're leaning towards Ayuthaya right now just because it's less traveling. I don't know if it's better to do a tour for the maya bay stuff or just rent a boat. Knowing what time to leave on the 25th for our flight might be helpful as well. I figured getting there before 10 AM would be early enough, so leaving our hotel around 8:30 AM would probably be okay.

Most of our time is spent on a liveaboard, so we don't have too much wiggle room. I am also sure that our phuket flights come in and out of BKK (our flight into Bangkok got moved, otherwise we probably would have flown out of the other airport for our phuket flights). I'm also aware that we'll need to cover our knees and shoulders for the temples.

February 9

• Arrive at Bangkok (BKK) at 11:50 AM on Friday, Feb 9
• Find Hotel in Khao San or Riverside area
• Consider doing any of the things listed for February 10 on this day or just taking a nap and getting dinner or walking around. Get snacks and any forgotten necessities and get cash.

February 10

• Go to Wat Pho and see the reclining buddha
• Explore Grand Palace
• Consider seeing Wat Arun, or go to the market, or just get drinks and people watching

February 11

• See Wat Arun if we didn’t the day before. Maybe see Chinatown and get noodles if we’ve already done that. Otherwise maybe walk along the river?
• Get back to BKK for flight (Leave around noon)
• Fly to Phuket at 3:35 PM (BKK)
• Arrive at 4:55 PM
• Check into hotel (already booked), sleep, get food, get drinks (but not too many that we miss ferries)

February 12

• Get Ferry to Phi phi islands in the morning (before 3 for sure)
• Explore, see the overlook
• Stay in Phi Phi Islands overnight (hotel booked, I think it's on Ko Phi Phi)

February 13

• Go on the tour to Maya Bay and the surrounding area and snorkel and such

February 14

• Take Ferry back to Phuket, get transport (~2 hours so give 3?) to Khao Lak
• Stay overnight in Khao Lak (Hotel Booked)

February 15

• Need to be in Khao Lak to get fitted for gear and stuff. Walk on beach or relax or whatnot. Maybe a massage. (Hotel booked)

February 16

• Liveaboard Departure at 6 PM

February 17-22

• Liveaboard returns between 4 and 5 PM on 22nd at Khao Lak (Last dive finishes around 11AM-12PM)
• Get transport to Phuket and stay in Phuket overnight

February 23

• Get transport to Phuket airport
• Fly back to Bangkok from Phuket at 12:15 PM
• Arrive at BKK at 1:40 PM
• Edit: Check into hotel either near MRT station in Sukhumvit or in Hua Lamphong.

February 24

• Go to Ayutthaya ruins with tour or maybe by ourselves and ride bikes

February 25

• Plane leaves Bangkok at 12:10 PM

Edit: Had a great time on our trip! Thank you everyone! Ended up staying in Promtong Mansion in Ayutthaya on the 23rd and riding bikes around all morning. Then we stayed near BKK on the 24th. At that point we were pretty exhausted and just spent the evening chilling at the hotel. Oh and we also just stayed in Khao Lak on the 22nd because we liked the resort/hotel we were at and just got transport to Phuket airport in the morning.
