Hi everyone, I’ll be in Surat Thani from Jan 15 to 19, and I need help figuring out what to do! I’m really into adventure and nature, so I’m open to exploring other areas in Surat Thani province, not just the city.

I want to visit Khao Sok National Park, but I’m confused about the tours and accommodation. Most options I’ve found are just trips to the lake with an overnight stay—are there other tours or activities there that I shouldn’t miss?

I won’t have my own transportation, so I’d love advice on: • How much day tours from Surat Thani city to Khao Sok or other places might cost. • Renting a bike/scooter—how much does it cost, and are the streets safe for riding?

For accommodation, I want to stay in a comfortable place, ideally something like a resort, but my budget is max 60 USD (~2000 THB) per night. Any recommendations for a good, relaxing spot?

Lastly, I’d love any recommendations for adventure tours, hidden gems in nature, or great food spots in the area. After the 19th, I’ll head to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, but for now, I’m focusing on making the most of these 5 days in Surat Thani.
