Can You Go to Thailand Without Booking Anything in Advance?

Hi everyone!

I’m planning a trip to Thailand next month and wanted to ask if it’s realistic to go without booking much in advance. I’ll be in Bangkok for Chinese New Year, staying around 4 days to 1 week in each location: Bangkok, Khao Sok, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Krabi.

For example: • Flights: Can I book internal flights just a day or two before traveling? Will it be expensive or hard to find seats? • Tours and scooters: Is it true you can just walk around, ask prices, and book them on the spot? • Accommodation: Would I need to book accommodations in advance for these areas, especially during Chinese New Year, or can I find decent options last minute?

I’ve read that Thailand is pretty flexible and you can plan as you go, but I want to make sure it’s not risky, especially during a busy time like CNY.

Any advice or experiences would be super helpful. Thanks!
