I'm sure this will get an eyeroll from some people on here given that I see some recently pinned posts about vaping being illegal (yes, I know this and I'm pretty sure most people do). I think it's been well-established that they are sold everywhere here and that this rule is quite loosely "enforced" (I have been vaping here and nothing has happened, and I've also seen several locals/foreigners vaping pretty much everywhere).

However, if I am taking a flight within Thailand (eg. Bangkok to Krabi/Phuket) and have my vape inside my carry on luggage (so not in my checked baggage), can I trust that it won't be confiscated or lead to trouble? I'm not terribly worried about having one on me in general, but since all items go through a scanner for flights I want to double check.

Please don't reiterate the laws to me, I'm well-aware of them! I more want to know if anyone else has experience with this and if they flew within the country with vapes with no issue.
