I just came back from a 2 month Thailand trip with my boy friend. Just wanted to answer all questions related to the Dress code. You shouldnt listen to everyone who says you should cover up. Thats just misguiding people. Since the weather is extremely hot and people should be able to wear what they are comfortable in. About the temples, you should cover up whether its okay or not out of respect dor the culture. Other than that you can LITERALLY wear anything you want. Show as much cleavage as you can. You can wear tight short dresses. I mean the local young thai girls wore the most provocative dresses in my opinion so tourists should be more than fine. I was with my bf, and I literally wore very revealing clothings. No one seemed annoyed or irritated. Yes they were staring, but thats everywhere.
