Hi everyone,
I'm planning a 3-day trip to Bangkok and would love some feedback on my itinerary. My goal is to immerse myself in the city's culture and explore its attractions, so I'm not interested in the sex tourism scene at all.
Here’s my draft itinerary:
Day 1: - Morning: Visit the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew - Afternoon: Explore Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha) and take a boat ride on the Chao Phraya River - Evening: Stroll through Khao San Road for dinner and some light shopping
Day 2: - Morning: Head to Chatuchak Weekend Market (if it's the weekend) or visit Jim Thompson House - Afternoon: Explore Bangkok Art and Culture Center and Lumphini Park - Evening: Dinner in Chinatown and explore the street markets
Day 3: - Morning: Visit Erawan Shrine and then head to the shopping centers like MBK Center or Siam Paragon - Afternoon: Relax and explore the nearby canals or take a cooking class - Evening: Enjoy a river cruise dinner or explore Asiatique The Riverfront
Does this itinerary look balanced? Any must-see spots or adjustments you’d recommend? I’m open to suggestions, especially if you have any tips for cultural experiences or hidden gems.
Thanks in advance for your help!
