Post Body

Spent over 2 weeks exploring the North, had a great time overall. Now I’m heading to BKK tomorrow and not sure where would be best to stop next, I’ve got 25 days, so not looking to rush things. Didnt enjoy the hustle and uncleanliness of it when I was there

I’m going south for the snorkeling and flora / fauna, (is the food as good Chiang Mai?)

-not into seeing the temples as much -not into the party scene, some live rock is nice though -do like markets(food/goods) -ok with staying overnight on one of the islands in a tent(wherever I can rent one)

Places I’ve marked so far to see:

-Ko Phayam

-Ko Surin Nuea

-Khao Lak

-Similan Islands

-Bamboo Island

-Phi Phi Islands

-Maya Bay

I would like to head out to Kanchanaburi to see the Railway over the River Kwai but that heat just seems intolerable but understand it’s only going to get worse going forward. Is it really worth it for someone who’s grew up watching the movie several times.

From there(if it’s worth it) I can head south, where would you suggest I make the first stop?

Any other suggestions for places to stop for a day or more, and how long would one suggest.
