We fly into Bangkok in late June and are staying for about 10 days. We plan to spend 4-5 in Bangkok before heading to a beach somewhere. We initially thought Phuket but now I hear people saying Krabi is better. Then I heard that June is kinda rainy and maybe gulf beaches are better for reducing chances of rain. I also wasn't sure if it was better to go to one place for 5/6 days or try to visit two beach areas 2/3 nights each. Any opinions?
edit: As far as I can tell, Koh Samui has way less likelihood of rain in June than Krabi, so I'm leaning towards that.
