My family will travel bangkok and i was assigned for itinerary

We got 7 days to spare and planning to stay in bangkok. Do you guys have recommendations on how to spend those 7 days?
I would spend 1-3 days in bangkok, and 1 day for pattaya (to visit temples) then idk anymore. Im fairly new to this im only 19 😭
Right now though, im looking for a hotel in bangkok that’s near a BTS station. Any recommendations for that too? It seems that there are a lot of hotels!
