Planning on doing 3 weeks in Thailand starting around November 12. Doing this trip with 2 friends, we've done some searching on stuff to do, places to see etc. But some more information and advice would be amazing! We want a good mix of culture, exploring, partying, beaches etc.

The general plan right now is to do a week each in Bangkok, Phuket, and the final one split between Chiang Mai/Rai. We are coming from Canada and I believe I read that we aren't required to get visas if the stay is less than 30 days. Is that correct?

We wanna explore and see as much as we can so while in Bangkok if there's things to do that would be more like day trips a little outside the city that would be fine too. Thinking about seeing Pattaya too maybe?

In Phuket we're not looking to just stay put there. I know there's different islands and stuff near by that you can do tours for. But not too familiar with best spots to go or ways of seeing them. But best things to do on Phuket would be helpful too. Also I've heard Railay Beach is nice but not sure if that's somewhere you can easily get to from Phuket.

Then for Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai probably more relaxed portion of the trip, but open to whatever ides anyone thinks we should do/see in those cities.

Flying is how we're most likely looking at getting around everywhere, tried looking it up but couldn't really see much about baggage restrictions on airlines in the area. I know some don't allow much space for bags/luggage

Also if anyone knows a great spot for a a tattoo in any of our planned destinations that would be very helpful!
