Post Body

I'm comparing relative values of common items and amenities across different countries. I'm not necessarily asking for currency exchange. Rather, how much Baht do you spend?

For example what would you consider a normal price for a water bottle? For an apple? I have a little list. What's the (approximate) average price a local might spend on:

-a bus ride or train in the country -fast food/fancy meal - a book - a laptop - a cocktail - a dress - a reliable regular not fancy car (I'm not a car guy) - a bicycle - a pack of cigarettes - a concert ticket - hotel for a night in Bangkok vs. A quieter town

Stuff like that. Part of this post is aimed at the value of Thailand's Baht, but also the value it's people place on everything. Every country, and individual, prefers to tighten their belts in some ways while splurging on others. Thoughts?
