Friends wanted to book a getaway to Khao Yai and ended up sending money to a fake page pretending to be the hotel. Lesson learned, police report filed - wanted to let other people know to be careful with all these new scams happening.

(Photos are screenshots of two fake pages of the real MYSkhaoyai hotel. They asked for a deposit, which isn’t unusual. And then an additional “insurance fee”, which is not normal. The name associated with the bank account has also been named in a different scam where she “sold” vouchers and then blocked people after receiving money https://www.blacklistseller.com/report/report_preview/188523)
