Hi! Recently I tried what I was told by a restaurant was ‘Tom Yum’ , it was spicy, tangy, and creamy (coconut milk) , this restaurant is a Thai/korean/japanese fusion place. Theres another Thai restaurant in my area that had Tom Yum and Tom Kha and their description of their Tom Kha seems to be more of what I had at the other fusion restaurant. Can someone tell me the difference between both soups? I’ve heard Tom yum can be creamy but the Thai restaurant only makes the Tom Kha which is creamy their Tom yum is clear broth (red) .
