Still on furlough. UI expired on Dec 26th.

My job has been on a furlough since April 11th and I finally got on unemployment in May. My unemployment benefits expired on Dec 26th but my job is still on furlough. I got an electronic correspondence saying I was eligible for extra benefits I've been calling and was able to speak with two representatives and they told me I didn't need to file another claim and they would put me on the phone with someone who could help but the call always drops after. Should I file another claim or do I just keep calling? Out of ideas at this point.
