[MF4MF] 49 45, Advice for newbies trying to get started

We have played with other guys at the adult theater in Abilene, and have been to a very small party (4 couples). We are on SDC. We had scheduled a meet up with another couple and got stood up and ghosted, lol. How do you actually meet other real couples that are real people that will show up as planned? We don't mind a little travel if needed, but it seems very hard to actually meet anyone. Any advice would help.
