The Rangers top prospect was called up on September 8th. He played in relief in that game.
In just 16 games, he is slashing .318/.426/.705. He has hits in 12 of the 14 games he has started. The He has an OPS of 201 and a WAR of 1.4.
Extrapolated over an entire season, Carter would be hitting around .320 with 40 HR and 102 RBI. The Rangers are 11-5 since he has been here. By the way, he is only 21 years old.
I only say all of this because my expectations of him were high, and he has gone above and beyond to lift this team to the state they are currently at.
The future is very bright

Leody is hitting .273 with 15/15 power/speed and playing elite level defense in CF. Iβd call him developed.
He might take another offensive step forward but keep in mind, heβs a luxury to have in the bottom of the lineup if this is exactly who he is.
